Uno de mis estilos favoritos es el gótico, esta fotografía es una buena muestra de ello no solo el vestuario sino hasta la puerta. Por cierto ella es una de mis modelos favoritas.

Algo bastante sencillo y práctico, pero que puede interpretarse de diferentes maneras… Yo lo veo como si la Rosa hubiese sido congelada, como si tratasen de preservar su belleza.

Quick drawing i did today

A4, smooth paper, pencils from 4h till 8b, colour pencils for the blood.

Si se compara con la fotografía que uso de muestra, se darám cuenta que es un gran trabajo el que hizo Isalinde, pero me gusta más como se vé dibujado que en fotografía 😀

I love sunrises. ^_^ Especially how they can make anything look pretty, even things like concrete box buildings and roads that are normally ugly 95% of the day. w00t.

I can’t say the same for my paintings, but hopefully this at least caught some tiny little part of the early-morning feel I was going for.

Aaaanyways. I tried a weird combination of words/picture for this… with interesting results.
Done fully in Painter 6 and mouse; over a month of on-and-off digipainting.

EDIT: Wish I could reply to everyone personally but with AP exams around the corner, that doesn’t seem to be working out so well. Thanks for all your comments, though!

Buena ilustración, transmite bien la sensacion del amanecer con las tonalidades rojas en el cielo. Ha cuidado algunos detalles como la transparencia de la tela o el resplandor de la lámpara.

Esta vez me ha gustado más el concepto que la técnica, la tendencia a que los hombres sean más altos que las mujeres no es impedimento para disfrutar de esos momentos romáticos.

Algo gótica y hasta vampirezca esta ilustración, la expresión de sus rostros me encanta. El fondo, aunque al autor parece que no le gusta, termina de complementar esa atmosfera tétrica. Preciosa!

El colorido de esta fotografía combina muy bien, transmiten la sensación de frío en el ambiente. El color de su piel la hace lucir como si estubiera congelada.

This is what I have been working on this evening.. I feel like I am getting the hang of it. I am so tired now and my hand is hurting from all this drawing, literally been drawing all day. Been great to just let my mind go and use my imagination. Just thought I would post it before I go to bed. I feel really happy about this one, got the right feel and the shading is more even now, in her skin I mean…can’t wait to do the next one.

The colours I am using is a pencil form of watercolours. I had no idea they were watercolours actually till I accidently dropped some water on another drawing I was doing of my girl friend, and smeared if out when I tried to save the drawing. They are lovely to work with, I think I am in love 😀

Cuando ví esta obra creí que no tenia nada en especial, pero al verla a tamaño completo le veo su encanto. Muy buena técnica para dar el brillo al pelo, una de las mejores que he visto. En lo personal me gustan más los dibujos solamente a lapiz porque se aprecia mejor las sombras creadas por la forma del rostro, pero esta obra a colores no tiene nada que envidiar a las demás. Mi parte favorita es el área de los ojos luce muy natural. Creo que el papel usado le da mayor vida, evita que sean tonos continuos en áreas pequeñas.

Otra figura del mal, pero no nada tiene que envidiarle a las demás. Como a todo ser malvado le encanta presumir sus poderes, pero evita mostrar sus verdadero rostro. La atmosfera que lo rodea complementa su rol de agente del mal.
