Amy Lee habla de Call Me When You’re Sober

hey guys. glad your digging the single, and thinking so deeply into it- its awesome. I just want to make 2 things clear- wind up didnt choose this single- I did, and I had to fight for it. I love this song. Also, they didnt change anything about it. This is the way we made it. We fought over the guitar part but eventually just got the mix right. Thanks for all of the attention! (positive or negative- its all good)
-amy

  1. Wind-Up, la disquera de Evanescence, no escogio a Call Me When You’re Sober como sencillo, fue Ella quien lo hizo y hasta pelío por ello.

EVANESCENCE rocker AMY LEE had double trouble filming her new music video with wolves – not only do they terrify her but she’s allergic to them too. The promo for new single CALL ME WHEN YOU’RE SOBER features the singer battling both the wild creatures and a rogueish man while wearing a red LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD cape. Although she was initially excited by the idea, Lee soon found her nerves kicking in when she confronted the beasts in real life. She tells MTV: “These live wolves came in, and they each had trainers and it was really fun. I thought it was really cool, but then when they came in, they were 150 pounds. “So I was like, ‘Wow, if I got on all fours, I’d be about the same size as this huge animal.’ But it was me and the wolves in the room, and it was all cool. It was awesome. “My allergies kicked in, but I powered through. And then we shot the scene at the vanity with the Big Bad Wolf coming over my shoulders and trying to seduce me.”

Happy cupcake sprinkly funland-the album!
hi guys. part of me thinks it would be best not to say a word about the first single, because the only way to really appreciate or ‘get’ the title of the song is to hear it- BUT- i just want to assure you- no rainbows or butterflies. Call me when you’re sober is cool to me because the lyrics are so blunt, its impossible to misinterpret. Im just getting a little braver, thats all. I wrote it pissed off and finally ready to change my life after putting up with way too much. Its not a pop song, its not a ballad, it rocks. But it isn’t “typical evanescence” either. I hope you all love the record, i know i do, but just one tip about it- each song really has a life of its own. It would be impossible to judge the record on one song alone. Some are much heavier than weve ever been before, some more soulful, some more fun- the only word that really describes all of them is “more.” …as I’m reading this I still think its all meaningless without hearing the album. Just be open minded, because I wasn’t aiming to give people what they expect.
i love you guys!!! almost there!

WTF?

Cartoon Network Song

I am Robbie’s sister
I guess that’s plain to see
When we watch cartoon, cartoons
I’m happy as can be
I think Samurai Jack’s cool
And Dexter’s Laboratory
I miss watching Power Puff
I miss watching TV
Well, living on the tour bus ain’t that bad
But I feel like I lost all that I had

On Cartoon Network
I miss you so
On Cartoon Network
Where did you go?

Grim and Evil, how I love that little brain
Johnny Bravo, can I smack you once again?

I hope you have learned a lesson here
Treasure what you have
Don’t make the mistake I made
The rockstar life is sad

Well, living on the tour bus is, pretty bad
And now I’m sure I know
The meaning of my life
The love within my soul
The reason I wake up each day and it’s

Cartoon Network
I miss you so
My Cartoon Network
Where did you go?
My Cartoon Network

Letra de Call Me When You’re Sober; Entrevista con Amy

Don’t cry to me
If you loved me
You would be here with me
You want me
Come find me
Make up your mind

Should I let you fall
Lose it all
So maybe you can remember yourself
Can’t keep believing
We’re only deceiving ourselves
And I’m sick of the lie
And you’re too late

Don’t cry to me
If you loved me
You would be here with me
You want me
Come find me
Make up your mind

Couldn’t take the blame
Sick with shame
Must be exhausting to lose your own game
Selfishly hated
No wonder you’re jaded
You can’t play the victim this time
And you’re too late

Don’t cry to me
If you loved me
You would be here with me
You want me
Come find me
Make up your mind

You never call me when you’re sober
You only want it cause it’s over
It’s over

How could I have burned paradise
How could I – you were never mine!

So don’t cry to me
If you loved me
You would be here with me
Don’t lie to me
Just get your things
I’ve made up your mind[laugh]
